Many of the Manolo’s internet friends they have written the Manolo asking what he thinks of The Cut, the new Project Runway/Apprentice, rip-off reality show starring the Top Hat Tommy Hilfiger, in the role of the tiny Trump.
Let us just say, that the Manolo he will not be watching this ridiculous show, as only the most easily bamboozled of the peoples could be lead to believe that the Top Hat Tommy is the fashion designer worthy of the emulation. Let the uneducated, Hilfiger-wearing masses enjoy this travesty, while we who are among the enlightened turn our attentions to the more worthy entertainments.

I agree about the Hilfiger. But I thought I’d watch it for the contestants and the fashion challenges. I feel bad about missing Project Runway (I am not cable savvy), so I thought this could make up for it. I guess not. It’s extra Sex and the City for me, meanwhile.

I too will boycott this show, particularly to avoid sending any income in the direction of Tommy’s vile offspring Ali (of Rich Girls “fame”).

Aaaaah, Zoolander…there are SO many funny quotes in that movie that its hard to choose just one. For example:
*Mugatu spits out latte mid- sentence* “TODD!! Don’t you know that I get all farty and bloated with a foamy latte?!?”
*Derek coughs pitifully* “I think I’m getting the black lung, pop”
*Mugatu, at the funeral after the freak gas-fight accident* “Its that damn Hansel. He’s so hot right now. Hansel.”
But possibly the funniest part of the movie is the look on Hansel’s face after Matilda reveals that she was bulemic and Derek thinks that menas that she can read minds. Watch it again, my friends. Roar with laughter as I do…
What a fine choice of entertainment over the obviously Project-Runway-ripped “The Cut. The can be only one Jay, Austin and Kara Saun. And one Zoolander….

I thought I was the only person who thought the Hilfiger is terrible. He is not so much a designer as he is a copy-cat of early Ralph Lauren…and I may open myself to ridicule but I feel the same about Tom Ford…he is not worthy of the moniker designer…

I got a (barely) used pair of tan suede Hilfiger shoes at a thrift store for $6, which I was wearing just today, which fit nicely. You can’t beat a deal like that. But the huge people downtown wearing orange pullovers that say TOMMY, that is not a good deal.

we lurve the zoolander. one of our favorite entertainments. wonderful choice by the manolo! we greatly dislike the hilfiger. we will not be watching his show. hugs and kisses to the manolo!
