Not So Cheap for the Beach
Manolo says, if perhaps you are the fancy girl from the Staten Island, who would not be caught deceased in the Dr. Scholl’s, the Manolo he would recommend to you this attractive shoe from the Claudia Ciuti as being the suitable replacement.

The Annalucia cannot believe that anyone would subject the pretty sandals to wet sand, clumps of seaweed, and the occasional horseshoe crab; they would be ruined. It seems to her that the Scholls would stand up to such treatment much better.
BTW is the Annalucia the only person who spent her childhood barefoot at the beach? By which she means running from the car, across the hot asphalt (ay!) and onto the sand without even Keds to protect her soles. In June it would still have been quite painful, but by September the Annalucia could have climbed Mount Everest barefoot.

Aww, I love Dr. Scholl’s. Sure, some of the shoes aren’t the most attractive, but some styles are indeed stylish. And most of them are quite comfy. They are cheap, but they’re still quality. And those ones you posted have rhinestones! That’s something different and special for tha Doc. I was just looking at a brown pair and am considering purchasing that and perhaps when more money rolls in and time rolls by, I will try out a certain heel I was also eyeing.
I agree with the Annalucia about protecting lovely shoes. And even I was barefoot sometimes in my youthful days.

agree with annalucia, they are too pretty to be walking on sand.. also, the shiny buckles in the sunlight, won’t they look very loud?
